Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group brings together Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust and United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, providing integrated acute, community and specialist healthcare services across Lincolnshire. Serving more than 750,000 people across one of England’s largest geographical counties, we employ approximately 13,000 colleagues and deliver care through our hospitals, community facilities and people’s homes. As we work towards formal merger in April 2027, our ambition is not simply to combine two organisations, but to modernise how care is delivered and create a sustainable, integrated model centred on the needs of Lincolnshire’s residents. We are seeking an outstanding Chair to lead our Group Board through this defining period. Working closely with our Group Chief Executive, Executive and Non-Executive colleagues, you will provide visible, values-led leadership and uphold the highest standards of governance, accountability and patient focus. You will lead our Board as we deepen integration, strengthen neighbourhood health and prevention, improve operational and financial performance, and reduce health inequalities. You will build strong system and national partnerships while maintaining a relentless focus on quality, safety and patient outcomes. We are looking for an inclusive, values-led and politically astute leader with substantial Board level experience gained within large, complex organisations or systems. You will bring a strong track record of leading through change, building trusted and progressive relationships with stakeholders and providing strategic leadership in challenging and evolving environments. Broad in your thinking and ambitious for the future, you will combine sound judgement with the ability to inspire confidence, challenge constructively and unite others behind a shared vision. Above all, you will be passionate about improving lives, committed to reducing inequalities and motivated by the opportunity to help deliver outstanding, integrated care for the residents of Lincolnshire. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of health and care across Lincolnshire and to lead a Group with significant ambition, dedicated colleagues and a clear commitment to delivering outstanding care.
