About United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust 

ULTH provides a comprehensive range of hospital based medical, surgical, paediatric, obstetric and gynaecological services and primarily operate from four hospital sites in Lincoln, Boston, Grantham and Louth.   

Services are also delivered from a number of community hospitals providing additional capacity closer to patients’ homes; John Coupland Hospital in Gainsborough, Johnson Community Hospital in Spalding, Skegness and District Hospital and Community Diagnostic Centres in Grantham, Lincoln and Skegness.   

The Trust has an annual income for 2025/26 of £965.6m and the main contract is with NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB).  

As part of coming together as a Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals Group, services across the two trusts are provided by six core care groups: Family Health, Medicine, Surgery, Alliance, Planned Care and Unplanned Care with support from corporate services.
